Nature:
White or slightly pink crystalline powder. Substrate for catalase, used in enzyme-immune ELISA reactions. This substrate produces a soluble, pale yellow end product that can be read photometrically at 370 or 620-650 nm. The TMB reaction can be stopped with 2 M H2SO4 (results in yellow) and can be read at 450 nm. A non-carcinogenic alternative to diaminobiphenyl.
CAS No.: 64285-73-0 (anhydrous)
Ecological data:
Generally not hazardous to water, do not discharge material into the surrounding environment without government permission.
Properties and Stability:
Stable under specified conditions, away from oxides
Storage method:
Store in an airtight container filled with inert gas in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
